  Jeff Holt's background

Jeff Holt began his career in 1975 and initially trained as an Industrial Engineer within the textile and mail order industries.

He acheived the Management Services Diploma at the age of 21, being one of the youngest people in the country at the time to be successful at the first attempt.

Jeff then spent periods of time in O & M and Work Study in  full-time positions within a number of industries, eventually heading up a team of technical staff as a Senior Industrial Engineer within a major manufacturing group.

He joined a small Consultancy company in 1979 and was mainly involved in work relating to business  productivity and process improvement over the next few years.  When an opportunity arose, he founded Oxford Holt & Co. during 1984.

Having started with one short-term project at a single client, the company has now completed hundreds of assignments throughout the length and breadth of the UK, the vast majority of which have been project managed by Jeff Holt.

Jeff has been described as a person who is straightforward, practical and with a high degree of integrity; someone who communicates in a manner that people can understand and relate to.  He is a Member of the Institute of Business Consulting (MIBC), a Fellow of the Institute of Management Services (FMS) and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Jeff is also certified as a Lead Consultant to undertake funded Consultancy projects for the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS).
